This car took 4x4 technolgy away from the off road cars and brought it to main stream production cars. This car changed rallying leading to all manufacturers having to look at all wheel drive at some point in a cars life cycle. The quattro was developed by a couple of people in there spare time something which would not happen now. The quattro is always going to have history in sport and it changed the way audi designed cars. This not the greatest car in the world, not even a super car, but it was a car that brought safety features to a normal road car. |
